Sobr Market: Brand Guidelines

What Is Sobr Market? 

Sobr Market is a non-alcoholic drink store that has a variety of alcohol-free beer, wine and spirits.  

What Was The Challenge?

Sobr Market was lacking a consistent brand and tone, so our job was to conduct a brand audit to better ​understand their messaging. 

Audit Insights

Following the brand audit, I discovered Sobr Markets primary and secondary audience and their demographics and psychographics. Ultimately, this insight allowed me to better understand their values, shopping habits, and the emotional drivers behind their purchasing decisions. With this information, I was able to tailor messaging  that resonated better with their audience. 

Next, based off my findings, I created a brand story that better aligned with their audience by using approachable copy, more personality, and less product-based copy which is what they had. After that, my group members  and I created a comprehensive slide deck that  showcased the brand’s personality, color palette, typography, and tone. This helped bring the guidelines to life and made it easier for stakeholders to envision how the brand could potentially show up on different platforms. 

The Impact: 

Our brand guidelines can serve as a reference to help Sobr Market identify how it can be consistent and ultimately attract customer loyalty. This consistency not only strengthens brand recognition, but also builds trust with their audience over time.
